We're looking for a mid-level UX Designer & Researcher to join our small, agile design team. In this role, you'll work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to drive product discovery and improve usability through informed, user-centric design.

This is a highly autonomous and varied role best suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about continuous learning and iteration. You’ll play a pivotal role in establishing our Continuous Discovery practices and shaping how we collect, manage, and apply customer insights across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Build strong, ongoing relationships with customers to gather feedback and understand their workflows and challenges.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to identify user needs, behaviours, and pain points.
Translate research findings into actionable insights that inform UX strategy and product decisions.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to shape the user experience of the new Avantra interface.
Lead usability testing of legacy and new designs to ensure continuous improvement.
Help define and implement a Continuous Discovery process, including tools, methods, and routines for insight management.
Design wireframes, user flows, and low-fidelity prototypes as needed to explore and communicate ideas.
Document and share research insights in a structured, accessible manner for cross-functional use.
Advocate for user-centric design principles and foster empathy for end users across the organisation.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

3–5 years of experience in UX design and/or user research, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
Proven ability to plan and execute end-to-end user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing, etc.).
Experience working on complex platforms or legacy software transformation projects.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders.
Comfortable managing your own workload, with a high degree of autonomy and initiative.
Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Miro, Dovetail (or similar), and analytics platforms.
A pragmatic and flexible mindset—able to balance long-term vision with immediate needs.

Desirable:

Background or exposure to IT operations, DevOps, or SAP ecosystems.
Experience setting up or contributing to a Continuous Discovery or research repository system.
Ability to facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions with cross-functional teams or clients
