Overview

Plan, design, develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and products, including cloud-based or internet-related tools. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES: Plan, design, develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and products, including cloud-based or internet-related tools. Work with team and other stakeholders to understand requirements and come up with best technical solutions. Build proof of concept to demonstrate the technical solution feasibility, focusing on security aspects, observability, scalability and telemetrics. Design and implement new features and maintain existing functionalities and optimize code to improve application efficiency. Perform code review and ensure coding standards and practices are followed. Provide technical leadership, implementing best practices, guidelines, and Agile/Scrum processes and mentoring other engineers and leads to share knowledge and expertise. Collaborate with other teams to solve cross functional challenges. Take necessary corrective measures to address problems in applications. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S.

Qualifications

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in a software developer-related role, including 5 years of experience in each of the following: Java programming; Adobe Cloud, including Adobe Experience Manager; HTML; CSS; JS; implementing and following Agile and Scrum processes; and building CI/CD pipeline
• AWS certification

Alternative Requirements

• Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3 years of experience in a software developer-related role, including 5 years of experience in each of the following: Java programming; Adobe Cloud, including Adobe Experience Manager; HTML; CSS; JS; implementing and following Agile and Scrum processes; and building CI/CD pipeline
• AWS certification

All experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 40+ hours per week; $168,709 - $168,709 per year.

Base pay may be based on various factors, such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance, depending on the terms of the applicable plan and the employee’s role.
