What You'll Do
Language Requirements: Fluency in English is mandatory. Your role will involve international team interactions, and only resumes submitted in English will be considered.
You will be tasked with two main areas concerning email marketing: deliverability and governance. Focus will involve monitoring email systems and performance to understand what is working, and what isn't, then driving improvements and change back across teams to necessary partners and the broader marketing organization.
Concerning email deliverability, you will focus your efforts on bridging the gap between technology and strategy working with email strategists, email operations and other marketing teams. This will be done while also monitoring the health of systems at both a domain and an IP address level and understanding the functional requirements to avoid reputational pitfalls.
The goal for our governance project is to bring together our siloed email communication processes to improve branding, cadence, performance, and data management – creating a simpler, clearer experience for our customers. Just as Avalara's services take the complexity out of compliance, we're on a mission to take complexity out of the communication experience. The customer is our north star as we evaluate email platforms and processes, aiming to guide business efficiency and protect future revenue.
