What You'll Do
At its core, the Campaign Manager role is a Project Manager role. The Campaign Manager will ensure the timely delivery of Marketing Campaigns across all channels through diligent project management and communication. Campaign Managers work closely with Audience Managers and Channel Owners to understand, coordinate, and project manage all of the deliverables, timelines, and milestones associated with campaigns and related programs. This includes creating assisting with strategy development, creating workback schedules, managing workflow, securing legal approvals, and becoming proficient with associated processes and systems. The marketing organization currently uses Workfront as its campaign management tool.
Campaign Managers work within a project management system to set dates, create visibility, and manage the end-to-end campaign process. They sit between the audience manager strategists and the channel owners and work closely with all campaign execution stakeholders to ensure that each group understands the deliverables, timelines, and SLAs. The Campaign Manager provides ongoing updates, facilitates problem solving, and acts as the "glue" that ties groups together and streamlines workflows and processes.
Each Campaign Manager has the opportunity to greatly impact Avalara's marketing efficiency and nimbleness by bringing discipline and operational excellence to our Marketing organization.
