Your Mission as a Senior Product Designer

As a Senior Product Designer and a core member of the leadership of our Deal Team (the Shape Up Triad), you'll proactively lead the entire design lifecycle - particularly in discovery and user research - partnering closely with product management and engineering. Your work directly impacts how car dealerships across Europe build trust with consumers, generate leads, and simplify complex sales processes through thoughtfully designed widgets, tools, and professional insights.

What You'll Do

• Lead structured user research, proactively owning discovery processes to deeply understand user needs and clearly translating insights into impactful designs.
• Drive strategic design discussions, actively influencing product decisions alongside PMs and Tech Leads.
• Independently create compelling prototypes and UI designs, validating frequently through methodical user testing.
• Systematically unify and modernise AutoUncle’s visual identity across core B2B product components.
• Actively participate in cross-functional collaboration, confidently contributing to business and product strategy discussions.

What You'll Bring

Must-Haves

We’re looking for a seasoned Product Designer who can hit the ground running. You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

• Minimum 6 years of proven experience as a Product Designer, particularly in complex B2B environments.
• Demonstrated autonomy in driving discovery and strategic design processes without waiting for explicit direction.
• Deep experience leading structured user research and usability testing, turning insights into clear strategic actions.
• Strong business intuition, understanding how design strategically aligns with business outcomes.
• Exceptional communication skills, confidently leading conversations, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves

These aren’t deal-breakers, but they’ll help you stand out:

• Understanding of SEO best practices.
• German proficiency
• Experience developing consumer products / marketplace / ecommerce
• Experience or strong interest in the automotive industry, particularly in products focusing on market transparency and insights.

Salary range: €8,000–9,000 per month (gross), depending on experience.
