We’re looking for someone who canwork across multiple projects andteams - helping creators prepare forreleases, build visibility, and growcommunities around their games.
This role is about marketing,launches, and players, not justcontent.
You’ll work closely withfounders, developers, and small teamsto turn good games into best cases.
Releases & marketing:
• Help teams plan and run their game launches
• Work on positioning and messaging for different projects
• Support release timelines and communication plans
• Track what works (wishlists, installs, engagement)Self-publishing & platforms
• Support teams with store pages, trailers, demos, and devlogs
• Help creators navigate Steam and other platforms
• Build momentum before launch and help sustain it after
Community:
• Help studios build and manage player communities (Discord, socials,playtests)
• Shape tone and culture around each project
• Turn early players into long-term fansCommunity events (online & offline)
• Lead the planning and organization of community events:
– online showcases, playtests, launch streams
– offline meetups, demo days, festival activations
• Turn releases and milestones into shared moments, not justannouncements
• Work with studios, partners, and venues to make events happen
Early business development:
• Help connect projects with platforms, festivals, and partners
• Support pitch materials and project stories
• Help creators open doors they wouldn’t reach alone
Communication & content:
• Write or oversee announcements and updates
• Keep a consistent, human voice
• Avoid empty hype — focus on clarity and trust
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has worked on at least one gamerelease
• Understands self-publishing and indierealities
• Knows how player communities work
• Has real marketing experience
• Is comfortable working with earlystageteams
• Has experience organizingcommunity events (online or offline)
• Communicates clearly in English
