Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead our talented engineering team in a remote environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, a strong background in engineering management, and a passion for driving technical excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster professional growth and high performance.

Oversee the design, development, and deployment of software applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

Collaborate with product management to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring effective communication across teams.

Implement best practices for software development processes, including agile methodologies, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

Drive technical strategy and innovation, identifying opportunities for improvement and the adoption of new technologies.

Manage resource allocation, project prioritization, and team capacity to meet project deadlines and business goals.

Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and facilitating career development for team members.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, promoting a culture of learning and experimentation within the team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in an engineering management role.

Proven track record of leading successful software development teams and delivering high-quality software products.

Strong technical expertise in software development languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, or others).

Experience with cloud technologies and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
