ABOUT THIS ROLE
Aurora Payments is seeking a Lead Brand Designer to serve as the steward of our visual identity and the architect of our creative operations. This role is ideal for a strategic creative with 5+ years of experience who thrives at the intersection of brand integrity and high-velocity execution. We are looking for a versatile designer who can translate high-level strategy into the polished, high-fidelity assets needed to support our growth.
As the Lead Brand Designer, you will own the visual narrative across all external channels. You will ensure that every touchpoint, from our marketing website and trade show booths to critical sales presentations, communicates trust, innovation, and authority. You will also produce engaging video content by leveraging modern AI tooling to accelerate our production workflows.
The ideal candidate brings a background in B2B Fintech or SaaS, a portfolio demonstrating the ability to simplify complex financial concepts, and a process-oriented mindset that values consistency as much as creativity.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the visual integrity of the Aurora Payments brand across all channels including web, print, social, video, and events
Act as the gatekeeper of the brand to ensure the front door experience matches the quality of our product technology
Lead the hands-on design of high-fidelity assets including detailed financial white papers, investor-grade sales decks, and case studies
Produce high-quality video assets for product demos and social media ads, utilizing AI tools and templates to speed up production
Integrate AI-driven design tools into the creative workflow to speed up ideation, image editing, and asset generation
Design and implement sophisticated creative workflows and request processes to fix bottlenecks
Build scalable templates in Canva to empower non-designers throughout the company to self-serve simple assets
Conceptualize and execute environmental design for major industry trade shows and partner events
Manage everything from booth graphics to swag and printed collateral for field marketing
Partner directly with Sales leadership to audit and elevate the visual quality of pitch decks and one-pagers
Serve as the visual bridge between Marketing and Product to ensure a cohesive aesthetic language
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of design experience within an in-house creative team or agency
Specific experience in B2B, Fintech, or SaaS markets is strongly preferred
A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in complex information design, specifically data visualization, long-form white papers, and presentation design
Expert proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma
Expert knowledge of Canva for enterprise team management and template creation
Proficiency in video creation and a willingness to own the video output
Strong working knowledge of AI design tools and generative platforms to increase efficiency and output
Demonstrated experience building or maintaining Design Systems and brand guidelines
Proven ability to design processes, not just pixels
Experience setting up file management systems, asset libraries (DAM), or project management workflows is a plus
Strong understanding of print production standards for large-scale event graphics and marketing collateral
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or equivalent experience
Highly self-motivated with strong discipline in a remote work environment
