The Rovo Mobile team is looking for an experienced mobile developer familiar with React Native to help us build our AI vision on mobile devices. You'll build and maintain the Rovo app at Atlassian. You will collaborate with design to develop new features and work flows in the Rovo Mobile app, and verify their impact and usability.

As an engineer within this team you will be responsible for feature development as well as delivering, with the team regular releases of our app. As a team we're customer focussed, building experiences and picking technologies to empower our users.

Responsibilities

Build high quality features, and infrastructure that is fast, testable, and scalable
Drive strong collaboration with other engineers, designers and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on great solutions
Contribute to code reviews and documentation, and take on complex bug fixes
Lead projects, from the technical design, implementation and launch to operation
Onboard and mentor junior engineers

Qualifications

Experience in React Native development and either iOS (swift) or Android (Kotlin) development experience.
Bachelor's degree (preferably a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience).
Understanding of modern mobile software development, including testing, tool development, the release process and monitoring.
Experience with releasing with experimentation a plus.
Experience building mobile applications at scale.
Experience in Agile software development methodologies in a high velocity environment.
Experience engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity.
