As a Senior Product Designer in the Ecosystem team, your main focus will be working on the ways in which customers and developers can build on top of Atlassian, whether they are customers customising our products or pro developers building apps. You'll collaborate with product management and engineering to define problem spaces, develop innovative solutions, and deliver them to our customers and partners. You'll also have the opportunity to foster design excellence in the team and contribute to our design system.

You Will Have The Opportunity To

Make an impact: we are at a critical stage of the ecosystem’s development. We have matured our core platform, Forge and are now accelerating into enterprise adoption and scale.
Tackle interesting, complex problems. Working closely with your engineering and product management triad, you'll have a large amount of ownership and autonomy across the entire design process; rather than just design individual features, you'll have the opportunity to define the end-to-end experience of an exciting and critical area of our product suite.
Collaborate cross-functionally with some of the smartest (and nicest) people in the industry. Day-to-day you'll work on a fast-moving, multidisciplinary product team, collaborating closely with Engineers, Product Managers and Content Designers to ship great work.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on professional experience crafting user experiences for enterprise software/services. (Experience of creating products for developers is a plus).
Deep experience working across complex design systems that span multiple products
Strong facilitation and collaboration abilities, a flexible and friendly approach to working with teams, and the attitude to always strive for the best outcomes
Equally strong UX and UI skills. As adept at creating customer journey flows and wirsframes as you are with pushing the boundaries in visual design.
Ability to define projects and measures of success, test your assumptions and outcomes, and continuously incorporate feedback
Interest in being a self-starter with your eye constantly on solutions: you are someone who can easily step into the user’s shoes with enthusiasm to craft magical experiences
