The Senior Product Designer will play a critical role in shaping the design strategy and execution for Jira Service Management data experiences including data management and analytics. As a part of this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams across timezones to identify and fill product gaps, improve onboarding experiences, and ensure Atlassian’s competitive positioning in the market with our larger enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers from across the business to create user-centric designs that align with Atlassian’s strategic goals.
Bring to life new ideas and experiences to influence what should be, and help shape our future roadmaps.
Lead design projects from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality and cohesive user experiences.
Utilize data-driven insights to inform design decisions and iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing.
Develop and maintain prototypes and patterns that enhance the scalability and consistency of experiences.
Engage with enterprise customers and sales teams to gather insights and feedback to inform design improvements.

Qualifications

Several (5+yrs) years of professional product design experience
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design
Proficiency in Figma including working with tokens, variables, prototypes and animation
Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design concepts and decisions
Ability to design, conduct and apply user research and testing to inform design decisions
Proficiency with AI tooling and prototyping (e.g. v0, Loveable, Bolt, Cursor)
