Summary
The Marketing & Content Lead is responsible for driving Asurint’s brand visibility and lead generation through effective content marketing; overseeing the process from concept and creation to distribution and performance analysis; and playing a pivotal role in supporting Asurint’s growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Spearheads all content marketing and brand-building initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and leads that deliver sales and customer retention.
- Collaborates cross-functionally at all organizational levels to ensure consistency, accuracy, and strategic alignment to push brand awareness, increase qualified leads, and support customer retention.
- Leads the end-to-end content creation process to collaborate on concepts, development, copy editing, distribution, and assessment of a wide range of assets, including high quality articles, blogs, emails, case studies, sell sheets, video scripts, and website copy; repurposes existing content that resonates with target audiences to maximize impact; manages and maintains consistent editorial calendar; and ensures use of targeted key words for SEO optimization.
- Works with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, external influencers, and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of key stakeholders and audiences and addresses business objectives; reviews all content and ensures consistent messaging.
- Grows subscriber base by providing regular content to address subscriber needs and interests; optimizes the path to conversion; categories and indexes content library; and conducts periodic audits to ensure content alignment with customer buying journey and key topics.
- Monitors, analyzes, and reports on content performance to demonstrate effectiveness; provides actionable insights for optimization; stays abreast of industry trends, competitor tactics, and marketing best practices to incorporate new, relevant ideas into Asurint’s strategy.
- Manages budgets and resources effectively and efficiently; knows and understands Asurint’s financial position.
- Manages vendors and outside service providers effectively; sets expectations and holds them accountable.

Requirements
- Experience developing and managing content and using content management systems is required.
- Excellent business writing, editing, and communications skills are required.
- Experience managing agencies, freelance artists, vendors, and other third parties and getting work done through effective delegation is required.
- Experience with Salesforce/Pardot is preferred.
- Webinar, presentation, and social media platform analytics skills are required.
- Experience collaborating on strategic direction and working independently to drive results is required.
- Experience leading and driving results at a functional level is required.
- Experience marketing to Human Resources decision-makers is preferred.
- Experience in the human capital management field, background screening, and/or the legal/court system is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required; Salesforce.com CRM is preferred; experience and proficiency with creative design, including Adobe Creative Suite, is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in creative writing, literature, marketing, business, or a related field is required.
- Certifications or licensure: If you do any work-related driving while at Asurint, a driver’s license and ability to maintain a driving record that is satisfactory to the company’s liability insurance carrier is required.
- Years of relevant experience: 7 or more years is preferred.
- Years of experience supervising: None.
Working Conditions
- The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions typical of offices, including the need for general safe workplace practices with office equipment and computers, avoidance of trips and falls, and observance of fire regulations.
- This position is performed remotely within the United States or in an office setting in the Cleveland, Ohio headquarters, although off-site meetings in various settings may occur.
- Inside Asurint’s office environment, the noise level is usually quiet to moderate.
- In a remote setting, the employee is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment, for arranging the off-site workspace in an ergonomically sound manner, and for maintaining standard Internet speeds in order to work effectively.
- In a remote setting, the employee is required to ensure that all equipment and records that are the property of Asurint but have been relocated to the off-site workplace, are maintained in a safe and secure manner and are used only for business purposes.
- The schedule is generally normal Eastern Time Zone business hours (unless otherwise communicated based on position or working location), although the employee may be required to perform work, attend meetings and events before or after normal workings hours, and occasionally on weekends and evenings.
- Some travel by personal automobile and a valid driver’s license may be required. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Ability to lift light objects (less than 20 pounds) and carry them short distances (20 feet or less) is required.
