Senior Software Engineer (Python & Cloud) - Full remote

Position

We're currently looking for a candidate for our client in the pharma industry. We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team of backend developers building AI Agent Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python, cloud engineering, and building APIs, including processing of unstructured data.

Salary offered

up to 21 000 PLN gross on contract of employment (depending on your professional experience) up to 1300 PLN/MD on B2B contract (depending on your professional experience)

You Will Be Successful In This Role If

• You have 5+ years of experience in Python software design and development, including scalable and secure solution building, async programming, and multithreading
• You have 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering with commercial exposure to Azure or AWS
• You have 3+ years of experience in API development (RESTful/GraphQL), including high-volume request handling, throttling, rate limiting, authentication, and strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• You are familiar with software design patterns and best practices
• You can work with GitLab CI/CD or are ready to learn it
• You are comfortable with the command-line interface and basic shell commands
• You demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach to tasks and issues
• You communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
• You have experience with LLM APIs, GenAI, agentic frameworks such as Langchain, RAG solutions, Terraform, or AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot (nice to have)

Tasks Waiting For You

• Designing and developing scalable and secure APIs and data processing pipelines (e.g. document indexing for RAG solutions)
• Collaborating with cloud engineering teams to deploy and manage solutions on Azure or AWS
• Collaborating with the Roche AI Platform team to integrate with the Platform APIs
• Troubleshooting scaling issues (e.g. serverless applications, API throttling)
