Job Description:

·     The mentor needs to complete the assigned project on www.theforage.com by himself/herself first.

·     Then, assist the protégé/student in learning and completing this project.

·     During the mentoring process, before each session of the course, the mentor needs to assign homework in advance, so that the student knows what he/she needs to prepare in advance for the class.

·     After each class, the mentor needs to briefly summarize the content of the class.

·     Online classes will be conducted via Tencent or zoom meeting.

·     All communication outside of class can be done via email or through social platforms such as WeChat.

·     In addition to completing the online projects, the mentor can share relevant experiences or provide suggestions to help the student better understand the workplace and job positions, helping him/her to gain more insights and understanding about the assigned project/role.

Job Details:

·       Type of job: part-time

·       Location: Online, tutors can work from anywhere.

·       Starting date: Flexible

·       Workload:  It usually takes a mentor 5-8 hours to finish a certificate/project. However, one session is usually arranged (1.5 -2 hours)

·       Class type: one-on-one tutoring

·       Students: College students

·       Salary: starting with USD80/hour, the rate could be increased up to USD200/hour for experienced mentors

Qualification & Requirements:

Holds a master’s degree or above, and has been working as a data analyst or data scientist for over 5 years in any of these fields:

·       Consulting

·       Finance and Banking
