The Role

You’ll join the data and modelling unit, collaborating daily with product, engineering, and real estate specialists. We value independence, clear communication, and measurable outcomes. Also, you’ll participate in complex analytics projects, developing models, refining pipelines, and delivering insights into BI tools and client-facing products.

Key Responsibilities

§ Build, optimize, and monitor ETL pipelines to clean, validate, normalize, and structure large datasets.

§ Work closely with the engineering team to integrate pipelines into production systems and scalable infrastructure.

§ Implement validation rules, monitoring, and reconciliation checks to maintain accuracy, consistency, and coverage across datasets and geographies.

§ Prepare datasets and manage dashboards (Metabase or similar) to support clients and internal teams.

§ Support valuation models, risk scoring, and forecasting by preparing reliable feature datasets and performing exploratory analysis.

§ Develop Python-based automation scripts for recurring data collection, transformations, and reporting tasks.

§ Apply ML techniques for deduplication, prediction, and anomaly detection using high-volume real-world datasets.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in data science, data engineering, quantitative analysis, or similar roles involving data retrieval and processing in production environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another quantitative scientific discipline.
• Strong programming skills in Python (required) and solid SQL.
• Proven experience building ETL workflows and data pipelines, including working with APIs, JSON/XML data, web scraping, and data integration from multiple sources.
• Familiarity with data processing libraries and tools (e.g., pandas, NumPy, requests, BeautifulSoup/Scrapy, Airflow or similar orchestration tools).
• BI tool experience (Metabase, Power BI, or similar).
• Comfortable collaborating with software engineers and integrating code into version-controlled and production systems (e.g., Git workflows).
• Excellent communication skills in English (Greek a plus).
• Analytical and structured, with the ability to translate technical data work into business outcomes.

• €30,000–€35,000 annual salary (gross).
