Senior Backend Developer (Java, PostgreSQL)

II. Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a talented Back-End Software Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, DevOps practices, Power BI Report Builder, Power Automate, and PostgreSQL. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our applications, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Job details:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java and related frameworks.
• Create and manage reports using Power BI Report Builder.
• Develop and optimize database queries and structures in PostgreSQL.
• Automate workflows and integrate systems using Power Automate.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of applications.
• Implement and manage DevOps practices to automate and streamline development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues promptly.
• Completes and ensures completion of any required documentation (e.g., deployment, maintenance, support, and business needs).
• Work with the local and regional teams in delivering the projects.
• Perform other related tasks as requested.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

III. Job Qualifications & Requirements:

• From 4+ years of hands-on experience in Backend development
• Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
• Proficiency in Power BI Report Builder for creating and managing reports
• Proficiency in Git for code management
• 3-5 years’ experience in PostgreSQL, including database design and optimization
• Familiarity with Power Automate for workflow automation and system integration
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Collaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members; able to coach, participate in code reviews, share skills and methods
• English: Must be good at communication and documentation.

IV. Other information:

• Remote working (full-time), following the VN time, GMT +7
• Working hours: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
• Duration: 6 months (sign contractor, no SHUI) at the 1st contractor
• Contract renewal based on the project
• Expected onboarding date: ASAP (must | After offering)
