We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong backend and frontend skills, deep cloud experience, and a passion for building scalable, secure applications. This role focuses on developing distributed microservices using Python (FastAPI) and React, with deployment on Azure Cloud.

You’ll work on a high-impact product team, collaborating across functions to drive the design and implementation of modern SaaS systems, while also mentoring others and contributing to architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python (FastAPI)
Build and maintain modern frontend applications using React.js, Redux, and Hooks
Deploy and operate services in Azure Cloud, leveraging AKS, ARM, ACR, Key Vaults, and IAM/Entra
Develop and optimize data models using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or CosmosDB
Implement secure coding practices, observability, and logging using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or Application Insights
Architect robust CI/CD pipelines (Harness or similar) and containerized deployments with Kubernetes/OpenShift
Design systems with asynchronous communication using RabbitMQ or other messaging brokers
Ensure strong test coverage with unit, integration, and E2E testing frameworks
Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical planning
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members

Role-Specific Focus:

Take ownership of full-cycle development in a microservices-based architecture
Apply secure design and role-based access control for cloud-native services
Actively contribute to documentation, process improvement, and technical knowledge-sharing
Engage with stakeholders to transform business needs into scalable technical solutions

Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on software development experience, preferably in modern SaaS environments
Expertise in Python, including building APIs with FastAPI
Strong proficiency in React.js and frontend tooling (Webpack, Redux, Hooks)
Deep experience with Azure Cloud, especially in networking, IAM, and DevOps
Solid background in containerization using Kubernetes or OpenShift
Familiar with observability best practices and monitoring for distributed systems
Experience with datastores like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or CosmosDB
Solid understanding of asynchronous systems and message brokers (RabbitMQ or similar)
Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or related discipline

Nice to Have:

Experience with GraphQL
Exposure to additional Azure networking, caching, and storage services
