The Role
As a Part time Senior Software Engineer at ArtistOnGo, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our platform.
Responsibilities:
- Full-Stack Product Development: Own the end-to-end development of new features and maintain existing products. This includes designing, coding, testing, debugging, and deploying updates that align with strategic goals and user needs.
- Bug Fixing & System Maintenance: Proactively identify and resolve issues across the stack. Maintain a stable and performant codebase with minimal downtime.
- API & Payment Integrations: Work comfortably with third-party APIs (e.g. Square, Stripe) to support core business functionality such as payments, scheduling, and authentication.
- DevOps & Deployment: Independently manage the full DevOps cycle — including version control, code reviews, merging PRs, and pushing to production. You’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth and safe releases.
- Code Quality & Testing: Maintain high standards for code quality through testing (manual and automated), documentation, and adherence to best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong Expertise in the following:
- Python, Django
- ReactJS, Typescript, NextJS
- AWS
- Ruby
- Understanding of Object Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, Big O, and data structures.
- Familiarity with the Linux operating system and command-line tools.
- Proven experience in a similar role, in a US startup environment ideally at a Seed or Series A level company.
- Experience in designing and building products from the ground up.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to tackling challenges.
- Aptitude to quickly learn new languages and technologies as necessary.
