Are you a dynamic UX Developer with expertise at translating design into functional, reusable components? Our client is seeking a UX Developer with front-end prowess to fortify and evolve their design system. This role necessitates alignment with the buyer's journey and the core marketing behaviors, emphasizing values-oriented actions, problem-solving, client advocacy, and results-driven endeavors. This is a fully remote, 6-month contract position, with potential to extend.

Portfolio Note: In order to be considered, candidates must have 3+ years of experience in front-end development with a focus on UX and design systems, and provide samples of recent work showcasing successful design system implementation.

You Will:

Proactively manage, update, and refine our design system's components and patterns, ensuring consistency and scalability
Convert design prototypes into reusable code components that integrate seamlessly with our design system
Work alongside web strategy team, product engineering, and design teams to ensure the design system supports and elevates user experiences throughout our digital touchpoints
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the design system, aiding seamless collaboration between designers and developers
Monitor emerging front-end technologies and UX trends, integrating them where relevant to enhance our design system
Collaborate with the UX and product engineering teams, ensuring that implemented components match design guidelines and are optimized for performance

You Have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
Minimum of 3+ years experience in front-end development with a focus on UX and design systems including a submitted portfolio that showcases successful design system implementation
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with modern front-end frameworks
Demonstrated experience in translating UX/UI design aesthetics and reactive components
Collaborative mindset, with a history of working with design and product teams
Strong problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and design aesthetics.
