About the job
We’re looking for a Senior Game Designer who will help us to create new game mechanics and balance them in the project.
Developing MMO games is very challenging. In our view it is as much rewarding. We want to find someone who shares our passion for challenge and excellence to enjoy this path together.
Responsibilities
- Prepare project documentation (Game Design Documentation) and make sure it is up to date
- Develop and prototype game mechanics
- Support already implemented game mechanics on all stages of the development process (prototyping, polishing)
- Search for development optimization solutions
- Work with game analytics
- Develop GUI concept
- Close cooperation with the development team
Requirements
- Launched games in your portfolio while working as a Game Designer
- Avid MMO player
- Technical degree or solid knowledge of mathematics
- Visual creativity
- Skills and willingness to balance game process and to improve your design
- Solid knowledge of Google Sheets
- Prior experience working with bug tracking systems (Jira, Trello, Asana)
- Prior experience working in Confluence environment
- Strategic thinking, friendliness, good teamwork skills
- Never-ending thirst for knowledge, willingness to grow and improve
- Passion for games and playing them
Will be a plus
- Fluent English
- Prior work experience in level design
- Basic knowledge of scripting or programming
- Prior experience working with game editors/engines (Unreal, Unity)
- DnD board games experience or similar
