Role Description

We are seeking a talented and disciplined 3D Animator to join our creative team working on a featured 3D animated movie, producing an extensive series of dynamic motion content. You will bring scripts to life through engaging 3D animations—transforming complex technical information into visually appealing storytelling. As part of a highly collaborative, self-organizing agile scrum team, you’ll work day-to-day in a cross-functional group of other creatives, including 3D Character Modeller/Asset & Props Designers, Digital Illustrator/Storyboard Artist, 3D Generalists, Video Editors, Sound Producer, Content Writers, Product Owner, and Scrum Master.

Key Responsibilities

• 3D Animation Creation: Design, create and develop 3D animated contents for various purposes.
• Storyboarding: Create detailed storyboards that translate scripts into visual narratives.
• Design & Modeling: Model characters, environments, props, and backgrounds to fit each animation’s style.
• Timing & Pacing: Control the timing and pacing of movements to synchronize seamlessly with audio and soundtracks.
• Frame-by-Frame Visualization: Produce accurate, detailed frame-by-frame animation as needed.
• Editing & Compositing: Record dialogue, composite backgrounds, special effects, characters, and graphics into a polished final sequence.
• Rigging & Technical Preparation for Animation: Rig characters and objects where needed for animation purposes.
• Artistic Consistency & Quality Control: Maintain consistency of animation style and quality across assets.
• Additional Duties: Undertake other animation-related tasks as required by the team.

Experience

• Minimum of three years of professional 3D animation experience—ideally across film, advertising, or multimedia projects.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Blender, Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, or equivalents.
• Deep understanding of animation principles, storytelling, storyboarding, motion graphics, and character development.
• Strong modeling and rigging basics to prepare assets for animation pipelines.

Soft Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present creative work effectively.
• Attention to detail, adaptability to feedback, and iterative delivery in an agile environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
