Ensuring the CI/CD Platform design aligns with industry best practices for scalability, security, and performance.
Update existing application and infrastructure designs of CI/CD Platform.
Design, maintain and improve our Containers Platform, both in the cloud (e.g. Azure) and on-premises (RKE2/Rancher)
Creating re-usable pipelines, pipeline templates and robust automation scripts to build, release and update applications and infrastructure components.
Ensuring repeatability and ease of management for future deployments.
Packaging applications using Helm-Charts
Upgrade application servers and agents, at least twice per year.
Support the Development teams (C1-2) on their CI/CD tasks.
Offer training and knowledge transfer sessions to ensure smooth usage of our CI/CD Platform.
Measure and report on metrics like cycle time, time to value (TTV), uptime and error rate, and team retention rate. Reports on CI/CD Usage
Qualifications
Mandatory:
Bachelor's degree plus 10 year's of relevant experience.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in CI/CD Platforms.
A minimum of 3 years in Azure DevOps Server administration.
A minimum of 2 years on application deployments on Kubernetes.
Expertise and knowledge in Azure DevOps Server and Service administration.
Excellent knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines creation and configuration. Knowledge of DevOps principles and best practices (automation, pipelines, improve efficiency, feedback loops, fail fast, etc.).
Excellent knowledge of application containerization, packaging and deployment on Kubernetes clusters (helm charts, operators, pipelines).
Good knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (IaC) tools and methodologies, such as terraform or puppet.
