Job Summary:
The Payer Partnerships Program Manager is a pivotal member of the Operations team at ArchWell Health. Their primary role is to lead complex, high-profile multivariable projects, coordinating across business objectives, building the groundwork for long-standing relationships, and ensuring healthy collaboration. S/he will create a solid foundation and build strong working relationships with national payor partners, coordinating the implementation of each contract across ArchWell Health’s markets. This hire will serve as the primary internal liaison with each payor, ensuring key milestones are hit for credentialing, data integrations, and network operations among others.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Document implementation project plan for each payor partner, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure key milestones and deliverables are outlined
- Responsible for the overall client relationship during the entirety of the implementation and serve as the primary point of contact for escalations
- Lead weekly project status meetings with key client stakeholders and internal SMEs to update on progress, raise any issues or risks, and discuss proposed mitigation strategies to ensure the success of the contract implementations
- Support market leadership teams in building local relationships with payors, gaining access to key data for network operations and reporting
- Setup access to payor systems for market teams and develop trainings/resources for systems
- Monitor project scope and critical paths, identify potential bottlenecks and work with Director, Market Launches to make schedule adjustments
- Position may require the employee to travel 25% of the time
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Experience managing and leading delivery of strategic projects, communicating project status, risk, scope, and progress to clients
- Skilled facilitator with ability to manage internal and external stakeholders ensuring decision-making and timely next steps
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects on time, with ability to anticipate, assess, and mitigate risk
- Ability to build relationships with leadership, resources, and stakeholders, including negotiation, influencing, communication, and trust
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors’ Degree (preferred), or equivalent experience
- 4+ years healthcare experience (preferred)
- Experience in consulting, managed care, and/or healthcare provider/payer settings (preferred)
