About the Role

As a Software Engineer in Test, you will be part of a dedicated Software Quality Engineering team, working alongside developers and business leaders to enhance the quality of web, mobile, and backend applications. You’ll drive test automation, refine QA processes, and ensure the platform supports high transaction volumes and global customer demands.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct end-to-end manual testing on web and mobile applications across multiple devices and OS.
• Define test strategies and effective test plans based on software changes.
• Utilize TestRail for test case management and reporting.
• Execute test cases, including regression tests, and track bugs via Jira.
• Support automation initiatives, working with tools like Playwright and TypeScript.
• Define and track QA metrics to optimize testing processes.
• Provide production support, patch testing, and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with Product, Development, and Technical Leadership to align testing priorities with company goals.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of experience in web and mobile application testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA best practices, ideally ISTQB certified.
• Proficiency with JIRA, TestRail, Postman, and Device Farms.
• Experience writing test cases in Gherkin and working with BDD approaches.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and cloud-based testing environments.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and foster a culture of collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Bonus: Automation experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
