Senior C++ Software Engineer – Fully Remote

Senior C++ Software Engineer – Fully Remote

• Purpose-Driven Greenfield Build
• Global Impact
• Accelerated Growth

A well-established, rapidly expanding fintech company is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a close-knit engineering team building tech that matters. Their core mission is driving financial inclusion, creating modern payment infrastructure to deliver vital financial services and payments to underprivileged and underbanked populations worldwide.

This role offers a rare blend of real-world impact and high-caliber engineering. You’ll tackle greenfield projects, take full ownership of critical backend components, and solve complex technical puzzles alongside a sharp, collaborative team. Because the core engineering group is still small, your contributions will be highly visible, and your path for career progression is wide open as the platform expands into new global markets.

If you’re an experienced, self-motivated C++ developer who wants total remote autonomy, hard technical challenges, and work that makes a genuine difference, this is an outstanding opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build Core Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency C++ applications that power international payments.
• Ship Greenfield Features: Deliver new software capabilities using C++, Golang, PHP, and HTML to expand financial access in emerging markets.
• Own the Stack: Drive end-to-end features from technical design through to delivery, working directly with senior engineers, support teams, and international partners.

What You Bring

• 6+ years of hands-on C++ software development experience in production environments.
• Deep understanding of multi-threaded programming and high-concurrency systems.
• Strong expertise in REST API design principles and microservice communication.
• Solid experience working with relational databases and writing efficient SQL.

The Offer

• Highly competitive base salary €70,000-€80,000
• Comprehensive benefits package.
• Full remote flexibility and a high-trust, low-bureaucracy culture.
• Clear, accelerated career progression within a growing global organization.
