This Mid-Level J2EE Software Engineer position is with a Global Software business who have made a name for themselves in the payments space. They are in the top 5 payments tech companies globally, and their modern technology is what sets them apart. As a Mid-Level J2EE Software Engineer, you will get the chance to learn from a best practices team of excellent engineers solving interesting and complex problems around scalability. Their Monolithic core product is built to handle massive amounts of traffic and utilizes the latest technologies. Their technology stack is: Core Java, J2EE, JPA2, Hibernate, Bigquery.

In this role you will get the chance to focus on building your technology skills by hands on coding 99.9% of your day. In this agile environment you will ship code to production quickly and regularly. You will also get to avail of excellent work to life balance as you will work 100% remotely within Europe. You will:

• Build functionality onto a platform that handles billions of transactions monthly.

Skills / Experience:

• 3+ Years of Commercial Experience as a Software Engineer
• Strong understanding of Core Java and J2EE programming
• Have the right to work in the EU (EU Passport)

Salary / Remuneration: €53,000 - €63,000 + bonus, pension, health insurance.
