Are you a digital marketing specialist with a passion for strategy and management games? Aquila Interactive is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to lead our paid and performance marketing efforts across upcoming PC and console titles. This is a remote role open to candidates within European time zones.
Aquila Interactive is an innovative publisher and developer dedicated to creating intricate and immersive strategy games. Our mission is two-fold: 1) to develop rich, complex, and engaging games, and 2) to drive player contributions and engagement. We aim to distinguish ourselves by lowering the barriers for small teams and individuals to create and design content for our games.
As Digital Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in our growth by planning, executing, and optimizing digital campaigns that drive awareness, player acquisition, engagement, and retention. You’ll also help grow our influencer and creator marketing activities, working across both organic and paid strategies.
Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), X, Google Ads and DV360, and other programmatic ad networks.
- Drive paid marketing strategies from concept to execution, including audience building, user acquisition, retargeting, and conversion optimization.
- Apply growth marketing strategies to increase player base and retention.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance; deliver clear, actionable reporting.
- Develop and manage influencer marketing campaigns (paid and organic) across YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Collaborate with the wider marketing and publishing team to support go-to-market strategies for premium PC and console games.
- Stay current with emerging marketing trends, platforms, and tools to identify new growth opportunities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing within the games industry or a marketing agency.
- Proven success with paid performance campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, and programmatic platforms.
- Strong understanding of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, DV360, and attribution models.
- Solid communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- A passion for and experience in strategy or management games is a plus.
- Email marketing experience (e.g., Mailchimp, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience working with gaming influencers, both organically and through paid partnerships, is a plus.
- Agency background is a plus.

Pay: £30,000 - £35,000 per year
