Product Designer - Fintech
Pay: $90-93 / hourly as W2, full benefits offered.
Remote: Open to US time zones
Length of contract: Approved through end of 2025, possible extension into 2026.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $90-93 / hourly as a W2 employee.
Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. The Large Enterprise Design team is seeking a talented Contract Product Designer to help shape the next generation of enterprise merchant experiences. This role will focus on elevating the design of key platforms, including Hyperwallet, Risk as a Service, and Braintree.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners—including Design, Product Management, and Engineering—to create seamless, user-centered experiences for large enterprise merchants.
- Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
- Produce high-quality UI/UX assets that align with established brand and product guidelines.
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of a unified design system across multiple platforms.
- Ensure visual and interaction design consistency across a suite of merchant-facing tools and services.
- Participate in design reviews, user research, and iteration cycles to refine product features.
Requirements:
- Proven experience designing complex digital products for enterprise-level users.
- Strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile design work, particularly for B2B or fintech platforms.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Experience with systems thinking and maintaining consistency across large-scale platforms is a plus.
Daily Responsibilities:
- This is a contract position with the opportunity to make a significant impact on tools used by some of our largest merchant partners.
- You will lead and execute core design responsibilities such as content review, creation of new page layouts, and accessibility evaluations.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in weekly sprint planning to define priorities, allocate design tasks, and ensure alignment with business and user goals.
- You will maintain a high standard of design quality while working within fast-paced, iterative development cycles
- You will tackle complex challenges in the fintech space by designing for large-scale enterprise systems.
- This role is ideal for UX designers with a technically curious mindset and a passion for simplifying complexity
