This role is responsible for driving innovation, maximizing ROI, and delivering measurable business results through our paid media initiatives. The person will manage agency teams responsible for the implementation of these strategies and serve as a cross-functional leader, building integrated marketing strategies and go-to-market plans across paid, owned, and earned media.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, lead, and direct strategy and execution of all paid media efforts for National DTC and state/local Health Plan campaigns.
- Develop and manage annual paid media marketing budget across multiple paid channels to ensure optimal performance and positive ROI.
- Collaborate closely with agency partners and key platform partners to craft and refine campaign strategy in support of business objectives.
- Partner with leadership to stand up paid media efforts in support of additional key business initiatives and growth opportunities, such as B2G and B2B.
- Work hand-in-hand with key internal and external stakeholders to identify new channels and markets that present opportunities for growth; formulate a plan for success and manage its implementation while testing, measuring, and optimizing within a matrixed organization.
- Provide consistent and actionable performance analysis, reporting, and insights that feed back into future strategies.
- Find opportunities to improve marketing efficiency through better audience segmentation, lifecycle nurture programs, marketing techniques, and processes.
- Drive innovation and thought leadership by staying up to date with industry trends, ad formats, and emerging technologies that can be incorporated into our strategies.
- Develop and deliver strategy and performance presentations to key leaders throughout the organization.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in marketing and the paid media space, preferably in the health insurance/healthcare industry or another regulated industry.
- Agency experience and/or client-side experience preferred.
- Omnichannel/integrated experience desired.
- Strong presentation development and communication skills.
- Excellent relationship management abilities required.
- Direct management experience required.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $56.70 to $63.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
