As a Data Engineer within this industry-leading organisation, you will play a critical role in designing and building some of the most advanced and large-scale data systems in the world. You’ll collaborate closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver scalable data solutions that optimise user experience, growth, and strategic direction across the company’s extensive suite of applications.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions
Design, build, and launch robust data models and visualisations that support multiple business domains
Define and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for critical datasets
Solve complex data integration problems using scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) patterns and frameworks
Develop and refine logging systems to improve traceability and monitoring
Optimise existing production code and data pipelines using advanced algorithmic techniques
Build and maintain dashboards, frameworks, and tools to enable efficient development of data products
Influence stakeholders to identify high-impact data opportunities and inform product decisions

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of hands-on experience working with data in roles such as Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or Data Scientist
Strong expertise in SQL, ETL processes, data modelling, and at least one programming language (e.g., Python)
Proven ability to communicate technical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments at scale
