Partnering with Aquent and a Fortune 500 insurance leader, you’ll shape how users interact with digital platforms, optimizing content for clarity, findability, and actionability. This is your opportunity to make a tangible impact on user satisfaction and business outcomes.

As a Content Designer, you’ll be the architect of engaging user experiences, creating content that seamlessly guides users through their journey. You’ll dive deep into user needs, leveraging research and data to inform content strategies that resonate. Collaborating with product teams, you’ll ensure content aligns with business goals and drives measurable results. Your expertise in information architecture will be essential in organizing content for optimal findability and accessibility.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement content strategies for specific projects, collaborating closely with product teams to create exceptional digital experiences.
  • Conduct user research to uncover unmet needs and identify opportunities to optimize content effectiveness.
  • Leverage customer data, personas, and journey maps to create targeted content strategies that achieve business objectives.
  • Apply information architecture principles to ensure seamless content discoverability and navigation.
  • Write clear, concise, and engaging UX content that adheres to brand guidelines and enhances user understanding.
  • Continuously analyze user feedback and test results to refine content and improve user satisfaction.
  • Mentor other UX team members to ensure design solutions effectively address user needs.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and analytics platforms to personalize content, optimize delivery, and identify content gaps.
  • Design and implement content strategies for conversational interfaces, such as chatbots and virtual assistants, applying conversational UX principles.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers and product teams to develop natural and engaging conversational flows.
  • Analyze conversational data to continuously improve content effectiveness and user satisfaction.

Must-Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of professional writing and editing experience in digital platforms.
  • A portfolio showcasing impactful written work and demonstrated business results.
  • Experience with methodologies such as Agile, Design Thinking, Lean UX, and Lean Startup.
  • Proven ability to lead content initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and experience working effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Knowledge of AI-powered content tools and platforms.
  • Experience with conversational UX design principles and tools.
  • Ability to analyze conversational analytics and user interaction data.
  • Adaptability to new digital technologies.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $46.75 to $51.95 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
