AquaStorage - AquaPod Kit
Position Overview: AquaStorage is seeking a talented Digital Marketing & Content Strategist to drive awareness and sales for our American-made AquaPod Kit bathtub bladder emergency water storage solution. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the marketing strategy for a proudly USA-manufactured product that helps families prepare for water emergencies by turning standard bathtubs into clean water storage systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive digital marketing strategy specifically for the AquaPod Kit, including content, SEO, email, and paid advertising
- Create compelling content highlighting emergency preparedness, the importance of water storage, American manufacturing quality, and the unique benefits of the AquaPod Kit
- Implement educational marketing campaigns targeting homeowners, emergency preparedness enthusiasts, and disaster-prone regions
- Craft engaging website copy, product descriptions, how-to guides, and FAQ content that emphasizes our commitment to domestic manufacturing
- Develop email marketing sequences to nurture leads and drive conversions
- Analyze campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization
- Showcase the competitive advantages of American-made quality and supporting domestic manufacturing
- Manage and optimize Shopify store and Amazon marketplace listings to maximize visibility and conversion
- Implement best practices for e-commerce optimization across both platforms
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably with emergency preparedness, home goods, or consumer products
- Must have hands-on experience managing Shopify stores and Amazon seller accounts
- Demonstrated success optimizing product listings, A+ content, and advertising on Amazon marketplace
- Proven expertise with Shopify store optimization, including theme customization and app integration
- Proven track record creating high-converting content for e-commerce products
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization
- Experience with email marketing platforms and campaign management
- Excellent research skills with ability to distill complex information into accessible content
- Strong analytical capabilities to measure content performance and ROI
- Background or interest in emergency preparedness is a significant plus
- Experience marketing American-made products and communicating their value proposition
Hours & Compensation:
- 15-20 hours per week with flexible scheduling
- Competitive hourly rate ($35-$50/hour) based on experience
- 6-month initial contract with potential for extension
- Performance-based incentives tied to sales conversion metrics
