APT's client is expanding its Microsoft Power Platform capabilities and is seeking a Power Platform Software Engineer III to support the design, development, and deployment of enterprise low-code solutions. This role is a hands-on engineering position focused on building scalable, maintainable Power Platform applications while adhering to established architecture and ALM standards.
This position works closely with Power Platform Architects and leadership, contributing to solution delivery while operating within defined governance and design frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop model-driven Power Apps to support enterprise business processes
- Build and maintain Power Automate workflows for automation and system integration
- Participate in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices, including solution deployments and environment management
- Apply sound decision-making when choosing between Power Automate, plugins, or platform capabilities
- Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to implement approved designs and standards
- Support enhancements and ongoing development of Power Platform solutions built from the ground up
- Ensure solutions align with governance, security, and enterprise quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform
- Power Apps (strong emphasis on model-driven apps)
- Power Automate
- Experience developing custom Power Platform applications, not just Dynamics 365 configuration
- Practical experience with ALM deployments (solutions, environments, releases)
- Strong understanding of when to use Power Automate vs plugins vs platform features
- Ability to work within established architecture and governance standards
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Exposure to AI features within Power Platform (Copilot, AI Builder)
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 (supporting knowledge, not primary focus)
- Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments
