Cyber Security Engineer

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive Cybersecurity Engineer with 3–6 years of experience to help protect our systems and ensure compliance with leading security frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with security tools, cloud environments, and a strong understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage security controls across systems, networks, and cloud environments.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents; conduct root cause analysis and remediation.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts across teams.
• Embed security in the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
• Ensure compliance with frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and CCPA.
• Experience with compliance automation platforms like Vanta, Drata, etc.
• Manage tools such as SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IAM, and DLP.
• Support audits with evidence and documentation.
• Stay current with evolving threats and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of network security, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with vulnerability management, risk assessment, and remediation.
• Familiarity with tools like Vanta, Drata, SIEM, IAM, etc.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
