Senior Frontend Engineer

THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADER.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer – Frontend to join a product engineering team building and supporting mission-critical Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions used by millions of users globally.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern frontend technologies, cloud-based applications, and scalable web architectures. This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-grade applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and cloud-based services.
• Lead frontend development efforts while ensuring compliance with UX and accessibility standards.
• Build responsive user interfaces that work seamlessly across desktop, mobile, and web platforms.
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Designers, and Engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting activities.
• Write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.

Required Skills

Frontend Technologies

• Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6/ES7+)
• Strong expertise in TypeScript
• Extensive experience with one or more frontend frameworks:
• React.js
• Angular
• Vue.js

Web Technologies

• HTML5
• CSS3
• Responsive Web Design
• Cross-browser compatibility

Build & Development Tools

• Webpack
• Babel
• NPM

Software Engineering

• Strong understanding of software design principles and architectural patterns.
• Experience building high-performance, scalable web applications.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Experience with unit testing and automation testing.

Preferred Skills

• CI/CD implementation and automation.
• Jenkins experience.
• Monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Splunk).
• Accessibility standards including WCAG and ARIA.
• Cloud-native application development.
• Performance optimization of large-scale applications.
• Experience contributing to or leveraging open-source technologies.
