Business Analyst - Design Systems & Figma

Remote work in PST.

One of our clients is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join its Platform Organisation within the Fusion 360 product family. In this role, you will translate visual specifications from Figma into clear, detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint-ready work. You will work closely with engineering, product management, and experience design teams to drive developer productivity and platform consistency across web, mobile, and desktop products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of prior work experience as a Business Analyst in an agile environment
• Experience in projects involving web, mobile, and desktop
• Experience working with Design Systems: UI Components, Design Tokens, and compositions of individual UI components.
• Experience with multiple toolkits (web platforms implementations and native platform implementations) of a Design System
• Demonstrated ability to translate visual specifications from a tool like Figma to acceptance criteria
• Ability to work with teams distributed across multiple locations and time zones
• Strong planning and dependency management skills
• Strong understanding and successful application of Scrum and other agile software development methodologies
• Effective communication and presentation skills, able to present complex ideas and tailor the delivery to different audiences
• Strong collaboration skills, able to work with a diverse team of engineers, product managers, and experience designers to align and deliver high-quality solutions

Responsibilities

• Partner with product management and experience design team to define clear and actionable user stories for the engineering team
• Break down higher-level requirements into initiatives, epics, and user stories
• Understand and interpret detailed visual designs and expertly elaborate user stories
• Work closely with the Product Owner to prepare sprints based on top priorities
• Ensure the backlog contains an ample runway of user stories based on team velocity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building platform-centric projects
• Experience in using Jira, Figma, Confluence, and Slack
• Experience with Accessibility requirements to meet standards like WCAG 2.1 AA and EN 301 549.
• B.S. or M.S. in computer science, engineering, or related field
