A leading apparel company is hiring a Marketplace Experience Designer to join their team. Our client, a well-regarded apparel brand, is seeking a temporary remote designer to support their physical and digital retail environments. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to craft engaging customer experiences through innovative visual storytelling and design.
Hours: Part time (~20 week)
Marketplace Experience Designer Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement seasonal campaign displays across retail and wholesale settings, including windows, signage, and product storytelling.
- Transform brand concepts into tangible, compelling in-store experiences that educate and inspire customers.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D design solutions such as signage, spatial layouts, and environmental features.
- Build scalable templates, toolkits, and guidelines to ensure consistent execution across various regions and store formats.
- Collaborate with Retail, Wholesale, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, and Creative teams to align physical and digital brand expressions.
Marketplace Experience Designer Qualifications:
- 3–6+ years of professional experience in retail, experiential, or environmental design.
- Strong skills in graphic design (2D) with knowledge of spatial and 3D design principles.
- Experience working on retail stores, events, or exhibition environments.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and familiarity with 3D tools such as SketchUp.
- Ability to develop systems-based, scalable, and adaptable design solutions while managing multiple projects.
