OnSite Graphic Designer

The On-Site Graphic Designer manages the in-house graphics department for our Beverage Alcohol Distributor

Client. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day client communications as well as order

submission and design of all point-of-sale print requests. This position reports to the Regional Manager

– Creative Services and works with a larger support team headquartered in Chicago. This position is

located directly at the client site and is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Provides an outstanding customer service experience by using consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and find solutions to meet customer needs
• Manages multiple design projects of varying complexities simultaneously ensuring all client directions are followed
• Manage individual design queue – Expected to design all assigned orders within 48-hour turnaround. Design between 5 and 10 standard jobs in a day
• Accountable for quality of work and timeliness of delivery across all creative projects
• Collects local print requests from sales force and input complete and accurate information into Ansira’s proprietary software application
• Understands all aspects of Ansira’s design, approval & production process
• Identifies client expectations and needs
• Troubleshoots customer issues over the phone, email and in person
• Maintains Ansira’s standard of quality and customer service
• Adheres to brand guidelines for both distributor and supplier clients and act as “brand advocate” when necessary
• Follows up with questions and requests from Chicago design and support teams in a timely manner
• Leads trainings for clients on Ansira’s processes and product applications
• Works with marketing personnel and sales management at the client to identify additional applications for Ansira tools and services
• Receives and inspects inventory, and distributes finished material
• May be required to operate in-house large and small format printers to produce rush projects and client proofs

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Fine Arts, or related field
• 1-5+ years work experience in graphic design with a strong design portfolio
• Understanding of the print industry and production process
• Strong working knowledge of Creative Suite – Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong visual communicator with a sharp sense of design
• Ability to follow strict brand and industry guidelines
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with careful attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a salary range of $50,000–$55,000, depending on experience and location. Compensation aligns with applicable federal, state, and local pay transparenecy laws.
