About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Data Scientist specializing in Anomaly Detection to join our growing team in developing Europe's most advanced AI security platform. In this role, you will design sophisticated models that analyze diverse data types (text, images, video, sensor feeds) to identify patterns and anomalies across high-stakes environments. Your work will directly impact critical operations in defense, intelligence, insurance, healthcare, and enterprise security—where early threat detection can prevent significant risks and enhance operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and deploy anomaly detection models using supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised machine learning techniques.

• Analyze large-scale time-series, transactional, and streaming data to identify unusual behaviors and predict potential failures or threats.

• Design and implement predictive analytics models to anticipate system malfunctions, fraud, or emerging risks.

• Utilize statistical methods such as Bayesian inference, Gaussian Mixture Models (GMM), Hidden Markov Models (HMM), and deep learning techniques like autoencoders and GANs for anomaly detection.

• Build scalable data pipelines and real-time anomaly detection systems leveraging distributed computing (Spark, Dask, Ray, etc.).

• Work with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and domain experts, to integrate anomaly detection models into production systems.

• Continuously evaluate and improve model performance, interpretability, and robustness against adversarial attacks.

• Present insights and findings through visualizations and reports, enabling data-driven decision-making.

• Stay updated with the latest research in anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and AI-driven monitoring systems

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in anomaly detection, machine learning, and predictive modeling
• Strong proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch)
• Experience with multi-modal data analysis (text, images, time-series, sensor data)
• Expertise in deployment of models in production environments using MLOps frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with ambiguous, diverse datasets

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in defense, intelligence, or cybersecurity applications
• Experience in fraud detection, cybersecurity anomaly detection, or predictive maintenance.
• Knowledge of graph-based anomaly detection methods and network security analytics.
• Hands-on experience with reinforcement learning for predictive modeling
