We are building AI-powered automation tools to streamline our insurance eligibility verification, credentialing, patient waitlist management, billing, and prior authorization processes.

We are looking for a contract software engineer with experience in web scraping, API integrations, AI-driven automation, and workflow optimization to develop multiple AI agents that will significantly reduce administrative burden and improve efficiency across ANNA’s operations.

🔧 Responsibilities

1️. AI-Powered Eligibility Verification Automation

• Develop an AI agent to automate insurance eligibility checks via payor portals.
• Use web scraping (Selenium, Playwright, Puppeteer) and API integrations to extract eligibility details, including:
• Coverage status, co-pays, deductibles.
• Prior authorization requirements.
• Out-of-network benefits and reimbursement policies.
• Automate login handling, session management, and CAPTCHA bypassing.

2️. Credentialing & Provider Enrollment Automation

• Build an AI-driven credentialing automation system to:
• Automate data entry and verification for provider enrollment applications.
• Track application progress with insurers and flag missing requirements.
• Auto-fill forms for multiple payors and reduce administrative workload.

3️. Patient Waitlist Management

• Develop a system to track and update families on their waitlist status via SMS/email.
• Automate real-time updates on available spots and estimated wait times.
• Provide FAQ automation to answer common questions about services and scheduling.

4️. Prior Authorization Automation

• Build an AI system to automate prior authorization submissions.
• Extract required patient and service details from ANNA’s EMR (AlohaABA).
• Monitor authorization status and trigger alerts when follow-ups are needed.
• Generate pre-filled authorization request forms for different insurance payors.

5️. Claims Submission & Tracking

• Automate insurance claim submission and tracking.
• Integrate with clearinghouses & insurance APIs to retrieve claim statuses.
• Flag denials and automate appeal submission for common rejections.

6️. Data Analytics & Dashboard Development

• Build a dashboard to track automation performance across eligibility, credentialing, and prior authorizations.
• Develop real-time reporting on:
• Eligibility verification success rates.
• Credentialing completion timelines.
• Authorization approval/denial trends.
• Implement predictive analytics to flag high-risk claims before submission.

7️. Security & Compliance

• Ensure HIPAA compliance with encrypted data storage and secure API authentication.
• Implement role-based access controls for sensitive financial data.
• Develop audit logging & tracking for all AI-driven automation processes.

📌 Ideal Candidate Qualifications

🔹 3-5+ years of experience in software development, specializing in automation and / or AI-powered workflows.

🔹 Expertise in web scraping & API integration with real-world experience handling login automation & session persistence.

🔹 Experience in healthcare automation (credentialing, claims processing, prior authorizations).

🔹 Familiarity with payor portals, clearinghouses, and healthcare revenue cycle management is a major plus.

🔹 Strong data security & compliance background (HIPAA, SOC 2 preferred).

🔹 Ability to work autonomously in a contractor role and develop multiple AI agents across different healthcare workflows.
