With our flagship home energy storage brand, Anker SOLIX, expanding across Europe, we are looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial Marketing Manager to build and lead our local marketing efforts in the Benelux region from the ground up.
Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Marketing Manager to drive brand awareness, user acquisition, and sales growth for Anker SOLIX across the Benelux market. This role requires a marketer who is equally comfortable planning strategy and rolling up their sleeves to execute campaigns. You will be responsible for building our local marketing engine from scratch, focusing on digital-first brand building and full-funnel conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the integrated marketing strategy for the Benelux region, with a strong focus on digital channels and performance marketing.
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of brand campaigns, content marketing, social media, SEO/SEM, and influencer/PR initiatives.
- Own the local marketing budget, track ROI, and optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with sales and channel teams to align marketing activities with business goals and drive lead generation/sales conversion.
- Manage localization of global marketing assets and create region-specific content that resonates with Dutch and Belgian consumers.
- Build and manage relationships with local media, KOLs, agencies, and partners.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of marketing experience, with a proven track record in a L5–L6 independent leader role.
- Industry Background: Must have experience in energy storage/home energy, high-value consumer tech, or D2C electronics. Deep knowledge of the Benelux market is essential.
- Core Skills:
- Strong expertise in digital marketing strategy, brand building, content marketing, and local campaign execution.
- Hands-on experience of growing a brand from 0 to 1, driving online traffic, and converting leads.
- Proven success in managing KOL collaborations, PR campaigns, and performance marketing.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial, agile, and willing to execute hands-on in a fast-paced, resource-lean environment.
- Language: Fluency in English is required. Dutch or French language skills are a strong plus.
- Background: Open to candidates of all nationalities (Chinese diaspora or local). We prioritize action-oriented, resilient, and results-driven individuals.
Nice to Have
- Experience launching or scaling consumer-facing products in EVs, energy storage, or smart home categories.
- Direct experience in D2C e-commerce operations or media resource integration.
- Existing network of media, influencers, or agency contacts in Benelux.
Exclusions
- Candidates with only B2B marketing or pure offline/event management backgrounds will not be considered.
- This role is not suitable for traditional corporate senior managers who prefer delegation over execution or thrive in heavily structured environments.
