We’re seeking a Game Systems Designer to help architect the underlying progression logic that drives repeat visits, unlocks real-world rewards, and scales across multiple physical locations. This isn’t a traditional game—but the systems behind it need to feel like one.
What You’ll Be Designing
You’ll lead the development of core retention and progression systems that reward customers through:
These systems need to be engaging, scalable, and translatable to both digital and physical touchpoints—including kiosks, CRM flows, mobile, and in-store screens.
Your Responsibilities
Design and prototype player progression loops and reward mechanics tailored to real-world behavior
Define how XP, quests, streaks, and milestones drive repeat engagement and social play
Collaborate with CRM and narrative teams to ensure systems align with story arcs and technical feasibility
Balance core loops for depth and scalability across multiple locations and user types
Work with dev/ops to document mechanics in a clear, replicable format
Suggest tools and tech workflows (e.g., Airtable, Notion, custom CMS logic) to manage these systems long-term
