Digital Marketing Strategist (Amazon & eCommerce Growth)
AMZ Global | Remote (Global)
Full-Time | $3,000 /month (first 8 months) → opportunity to double within 18 months
The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Digital Marketing Strategist to help eCommerce brands scale across Amazon and the broader digital ecosystem.
This role is for someone who understands that Amazon is not a silo, but part of a larger customer journey involving traffic, conversion, and brand building.
You’ll work directly with founders, operators, and marketing teams to develop holistic growth strategies, not just manage campaigns.
About AMZ Global
AMZ Global is a full-service eCommerce consultancy with 100+ clients worldwide.
We help brands launch, scale, and dominate across Amazon marketplaces in the US, EU, and beyond.
Our clients range from entrepreneurs and high-growth brands to Fortune 500 marketing teams, and our work spans multiple international markets.
The Role
You will manage and grow a portfolio of brands while acting as a strategic advisor, not just an operator.
You’ll lead client conversations, build growth strategies, and connect Amazon performance with broader digital marketing efforts.
Because many of our clients are based in the United States, you should be comfortable occasionally working later hours to accommodate North American time zones.
North American expats living abroad are encouraged to apply, but this is not a requirement. What matters most is experience working with global businesses and international clients.
Responsibilities
Strategy and Client Leadership
Lead weekly strategy calls with founders, executives, and marketing teams
Present monthly performance with clear insights and actionable recommendations
Develop growth strategies that connect Amazon with the broader digital ecosystem
Digital Marketing and Amazon Growth
Guide advertising strategy across Sponsored Ads, DSP, and upper-funnel initiatives
Optimize customer journeys on Amazon (traffic to listing to conversion)
Allocate budgets across performance and brand-building initiatives
Execute key eCommerce functions including product launches, listing optimization, and expansion
Collaboration and Problem Solving
Work cross-functionally to solve complex growth challenges
Conduct market research and competitive analysis
Support business development conversations when needed
What Success Looks Like
Leading high-quality, strategic conversations with clients
Delivering clear, data-driven growth strategies
Driving measurable performance improvements across accounts
Building strong, long-term client relationships
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who understands that Amazon is one part of a broader digital marketing ecosystem, not a standalone channel.
You should be comfortable thinking in terms of customer journeys, funnels, and brand building, not just campaigns and ROAS.
Core Requirements
Strong experience growing Amazon accounts with a clear understanding of performance drivers
Experience with digital marketing beyond Amazon (Meta, Google, TikTok, email, or DTC funnels)
Ability to connect traffic, conversion, and retention into a cohesive strategy
High emotional intelligence and ability to build trust with clients
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong problem-solving mindset and ownership
This role is NOT for someone who
Only manages Amazon PPC campaigns without understanding broader marketing strategy
Thinks only in terms of ACOS or ROAS without considering long-term brand growth
Is not comfortable leading client conversations
Nice to Have
Experience in agency or consulting environments
Familiarity with off-Amazon traffic strategies
Experience across multiple Amazon marketplaces
Additional language skills
Culture Fit (Non-Negotiable)
We’re builders of future entrepreneurs. Everyone at AMZ Global explores multiple areas of the business to discover where they thrive.
