Amwins Connect (“Connect”) is conducting a candidate search looking for a Director of Marketing with experience in Group Benefits Insurance.
Connect is now one of the largest group brokerage general agencies in the US with national distribution. By combining seven of our group benefits operating companies, we have created a business with over 100+ years of experience under the Amwins’ brand, Connect houses a comprehensive collection of group benefits products available for national distribution. Position Overview

Qualified candidates must have strong strategic thinking skills, writing acumen, solid project management and organizational skills, passion for communications, and drive to meet high expectations of quality, teamwork and performance.
The Marketing Director position will report to our Vice President of Marketing for the Group Benefits Division, with a dotted line to the Division President.
Position requires marketing-based knowledge to provide our sales team and brokers with tailored employee benefit marketing solutions for fully insured, self-funded and ancillary programs across all benefit lines.
Responsibilities
Marketing Planning & Execution
Serve as a key liaison for all Amwins Connect marketing initiatives.
Support the development and execution of strategic marketing plans and tactics.
Thoughtfully use a strong understanding of internal stakeholder needs and the ability to deliver effective marketing, communication, and sales tools in a timely manner.
Lead and manage a team of direct reports and internal partners to develop and execute impactful campaigns and promotions that engage and motivate our audience.
Sales SupportCollaborate closely with Market Leaders to provide comprehensive support to the field sales team. Responsibilities include:
Development of sales campaigns.
Creation of sales collateral.
Design and production of PowerPoint presentations.
Coordination of event marketing and logistics.
Support for social media initiatives.
Digital Marketing Expertise Drive effective lead and client acquisition online.
Build engaging, industry-relevant content to drive interest and leads through social media, emails and the website.
Website ManagementContribute to the planning, maintenance, and content management of the Amwins Connect website to ensure information is accurate, engaging, and up to date.
Content Creation & EditingPartner with the marketing and communications team to write and edit content across various platforms, including the intranet, internal newsletters, sales materials, and more.
Use exceptional writing and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
