Job Description Summary:
As a Sales Engineer, you will work at the intersection of technology and business, leveraging your technical expertise and sales acumen to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs. You will be responsible for driving aggressive growth strategies, building strong customer relationships, and leading technical engagements that result in long-term partnerships. You will also identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities, setting the pace for exponential revenue growth.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office Software and discipline’s specific software applications
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with high level of confidence
- Good organizational skills, management skills and ability to be self-motivated.
- Should have ability to multitask and handle conflicts in the business.
- Data collection and analysis in technical manufacturing environment preferred.
Qualifications – Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related fields (Business Administration, Engineering, or Marketing) preferred
- 7 - 10 years directly related experience.
- Ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
- High energy, self-starter.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Interpersonal skills for effective team communication.
Duties/Responsibilities: (Position Specific)
- Lead sales efforts to aggressively penetrate new markets and expand business with existing customers.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through strategic account management and proactive prospecting.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to target high-potential customers and opportunities.
- Provide expert technical advice and consultation on product applications to solve customer challenges.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, tailoring solutions to customer needs.
- Cultivate long-term customer relationships by delivering exceptional service, technical support, and follow-up.
- Provide strategic input to shape the company’s product development roadmap, ensuring alignment with market needs.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure successful project execution.
- Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual booking forecasts to support sales planning and target achievement.
- Visit customers 3-4 days per week to strengthen relationships and actively pursue new business opportunities.

KPIs and Metrics:
- Monthly Customer Visits: Target –20 visits/month
- New Customer Visits: Target –4 visits/month
- Diversification Visits: Target –2 visits/month
- Sales Forecast Accuracy: Target –+/-10%
- Sales Funnel, Pipeline, and CRM Updates: Target –completion by EOB Friday each week
- Sales Funnel Value: Target –5x Orders Budget (adjusted as we refine conversion data)
Security Access:
- Must be capable of holding US Security Clearance
