We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead complex engineering development programs and serve as the primary point of contact for customers. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and experience managing programs in a DoD engineering environment.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead complex engineering development programs and serve as the primary point of contact for customers. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and experience managing programs in a DoD engineering environment. The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of engineering development programs. This individual will manage program lifecycle activities, ensure performance against cost and schedule, and serve as the primary interface with customers and internal stakeholders.

This is a fully remote position. No employer visa sponsorship is available.

Key Responsibilities

Program Lifecycle Management

• Lead all phases of program execution including:
• Proposal support and program bidding
• Program kickoff and planning
• Execution, monitoring, and reporting
• Program closeout
• Develop and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and track plan vs. actual performance
• Provide regular program status updates to leadership and customers

Financial & Performance Management

• Manage program budgets and forecasting using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles
• Perform Estimate to Complete (ETC) forecasting
• Track program cost, schedule, and technical performance

Program Execution & Coordination

• Oversee staffing and resource planning
• Coordinate development and procurement of hardware and software
• Lead risk and opportunity management activities
• Collaborate with internal teams including Facilities, IT, and Security to ensure program infrastructure readiness

Customer Engagement

• Serve as the primary customer point of contact
• Prepare and deliver CDRLs and SDRLs
• Ensure programs meet contractual requirements and performance expectations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• 6+ years of DoD program management experience supporting engineering development programs
• 6+ years Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience
• 6+ years Control Account Management experience
• Experience preparing and delivering CDRLs and SDRLs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Up to 25% to headquarters in Hayward, CA and other locations as needed
• U.S. Citizenship required due to government contract requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $140,000 – $160,000 (based on experience)
