We are seeking a motivated, proactive & marketing- and events-experienced individual who has a passion for skincare and beauty. The Grove Store Marketing Manager will lead the strategy and execution behind our Laneige Pop-Up Store at The Grove in LA, ensuring we have a robust 360 plan for every launch and resupport campaign.
This position will lead the charge on all marketing and event planning for our only brick & mortar footprint & ensure we’re tracking to our KPIs. They will partner closely with internal cross-functional teams such as Integrated Communications, PR, Social, Paid Performance, D2C, TikTok Shop, Finance and Creative teams as well as the store operations team to ensure seamless execution of plans. This person will also liaise with external stakeholders, such as vendors, freelancers + the Grove team on all approvals and store updates. We are looking for an individual who will thrive in a creative and strategic environment, has very strong communication and organizational skills and is willing to have boots-on-the-ground at our store when need be.
Principal Accountabilities
The cabdidate would be responsible for tasks specific to our Grove Pop-Up Store:
- Develop scalable retail marketing efforts to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, increase sales, incentivize engagement and scale CRM initiatives at our Grove Pop-Up Store.
- Outline the objectives, goals and requirements for monthly events and provide results + metrics upon completion, using learnings for future events. Evaluate effectiveness of marketing programming and optimize in real time.
- Kick off and lead task forces with internal teams to manage timelines, R&R, logistical details, build-outs, etc.
- Create promotional plans that encourage conversion while also growing Average Order Value and skincare business.
- Partner closely with the Creative team to execute visual merchandising updates and launch new SKUS. Develop detailed and thoughtful creative briefs while managing creative delivery timelines.
- Partner with Education team to introduce best-in-class training tools and materials, and train store staff on product benefits + consultations
- Work with Consumer Marketing team to develop exclusive GWPs and sellable merch that resonate with consumers
- Liaise with the Digital teams to ensure direct-to-consumer efforts are in lockstep from our owned site to our owned store
- Partner with Social & PR teams to launch new community & influencer initiatives, respectively, with the goal of growing UGC and EMV.
- Partner with the head of store operations to ensure staff are properly trained, plans are implemented properly, and logistics are sorted through seamlessly.
- Communicate with warehouse and supply chain management teams to ensure inventory is secured and shipped to store correctly.
- Support DTC team to build strong CRM programming (loyalty, trigger communications)
- Liaise with Affiliates team to execute strong store marketing programs
- Partner with the Paid Performance team to execute geo-targeted paid media campaigns that drive traffic to store
- Closely manage spend to ensure we stay within budgets.
- Maintain pulse on industry best practices for beauty marketing, IRL events, and performance benchmarking
Qualification and Experience
- Experience in Marketing (5+ years)
- Event / trade experience preferred (2+ years)
- Gen Z brand experience & beauty experience preferred
- Bachelor or higher degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related subject preferred
- Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals (less than 20%)
