I’ m currently working with one of the fast growing fintech startups who are building cross-border payments platform across emerging economy countries. With $25M in transactions processed last month as well as $5M in funding, they are growing fast and need a strong engineer to join to hit the ground running.

You’ll be joining as the third engineer, working directly with the founding developer to build backend systems in Golang. You'll also contribute to the frontend, working with React where needed but the role will probably be 80-85% backend focused. You’ll be developing custom APIs and features tailored to real client needs and help evolve their monolith architecture toward something more scalable - using tools like GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.

This is a role for someone who cares deeply about how things work for the customer, not just the technology. You’ll have high ownership, real impact, and a chance to shape the tech and culture of a product that’s already delivering millions in value each month.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of engineering experience, including 3+ years working with Golang and one year experience with any frontend JS library (React preferred) . Experience in fintech and early-stage startups is a strong plus.

This role is fully remote within Europe, offered on a B2B contract, with a salary of up to €110,000 plus share options.
