Our client, a provider of Health, Dental, Vision, Medicaid, and Medicare Healthcare service plans in the state of California with 4.7 million members and $22.9 billion of annual revenues, seeks an accomplished Marketing Research Analyst.

Summary:
The main function of a marketing research analyst is to research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine potential sales of a product or service. A typical marketing analyst is responsible for gathering information on competitors and methods of marketing and distribution.
Responsibilities:
- Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
- Research consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals.
- Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.
- Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution.
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.
- Develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs.
- Directly trained survey interviewers.
Required Skills (top 3 non-negotiables):
- 5-7 years of related experience required.
- Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
- Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
- Healthcare experience is an absolute requirement
- Product builds
- Quality assurance
- Implementation
- SOB, EOCs, Technical Writing type skills
- Testing is also a plus
- Business analyst experience required and/ or product implementation
- Microsoft and excel experience required

- Basic Computer Navigation

- Organizational Skills
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training required.
