Identify and develop new customers from sources such as databases, publications, market analysis, trade shows and contact lists. Assist potential customers to determine compatibility between their requirements and APi’s products/services.
Develop and maintain Marketing Intelligence (MI) on all peptides in preclinical and clinical development thru commercialization.
Plan attendance of APi personnel at selected trade shows, be prepared to fulfill booth duties at shows, and coordinate customer visits to APi facilities.
Record customer information into APi’s customer database and prepare a monthly report including contact, sales activity and client visits. Support sales team in CRM management and improvements.
Assist in the design and preparation of marketing materials such as brochures, display booth, and updates to APi’s website.
Develop and maintain a current understanding of APi’s capabilities and capacity and work with the operation managers to deliver the products and services in a timely manner to satisfy customers’ needs.
Develop and maintain working knowledge of sales, marketing, and project management skills and techniques and provide sales support services as required by APi.
Maintain Open Quote log for all current and potential customers including name, salesperson, brief product description, phase, data of quote, $ amount.
Provide investor requested sales metrics including sales and orders by Phase.
Qualifications:
BS degree in a scientific or technical discipline
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or related industry
Extensive knowledge and experience in NCE and Generic Drug substances
Previous management or project experience
SFDC experience
Excellent communications skills, written and verbal. Strong interpersonal skills.
